bike chained upThe response to our request for bike donations has been overwhelming and we have now smashed our target of 50 bikes. But why stop there? We want to create an amazing bike trail that will cover Cheltenham in lime green bikes in celebration of the Tour of Britain and add to the festival feel on 9 September. Therefore, we have decided to double our target from 50 to 100 bikes.

With so much support from local residents and businesses all wanting to get involved in donating and decorating bikes we’re sure we will have no problem speeding to the finish line to reach this new target.

We would like to thank anyone who has been generous enough to donate a bike or a spare wheel to support the bike trail initiative. We now continue to need your support and generosity to make the bike trail a success so it can be enjoyed by all.

How to donate

Anyone who has a bike of any size or spare wheels to offer can donate them in one of the following ways:

  • Drop them at the Bike Hub at 278 Gloucester Road next to the Cheltenham Railway Station between 10am and 5pm Tuesday to Sunday
  • Drop them at the Municipal Offices ‘goods inwards’ point at the rear of the building during normal office hours (just ring the bell for attention)
  • Or fill in the details in the contact form on our bike trail page to arrange a collection
