The bike trail
Our zingy lime green bikes will be out and about town at the beginning of August, when you can just visit one, or visit them all. Don’t forget to snap a picture of yourself with one of our bikes, and tweet us, tag us on Facebook, tag us on Instagram or email us for your chance to win two VIP hospitality tickets at the event. For full details and terms and conditions click here.
Go on our Fun Treasure Trail
If you are looking for something to do that is fun, free and gets you and your kids out and about for an hour or so then why not try our fun treasure trail? Take a look at our pin-point map, print off our Green Bike Treasure Trail form and go and seek out all the letters of our mystery phrase.
Top tip: The last letter is at the Cheltenham Tourist Information Centre, then hand in your form there to collect a small prize!
We are looking for donations of neglected bikes and their parts so that they can be dusted off, spruced up and painted lime green as the town creates a vibrant Bike Trail to promote the Tour of Britain in an initiative supported by Cheltenham Business Improvement District (BID). It will all add to the festival feel on Saturday 9 September for The Bloor Homes Cheltenham Festival of Cycling.
The Bike Trail Initiative, organised by the council and supported by the BID, will see online maps right here so visitors can complete the trail.
Anyone who has a bike of any size or spare wheels to offer can donate them in one of the following ways:
- Drop them at the Bike Hub at 278 Gloucester Road next to the Cheltenham Railway Station between 10am and 5pm Tuesday to Sunday
- Drop them at the Municipal Offices goods inwards point at the rear of the building between 10am and 4pm
- Or fill in the details in the contact form below to arrange a collection. (Please note we can only collect bikes from within the Cheltenham borough boundary)
