W1 and W2 services
Pittville Street, Cheltenham will be closed from the start of service until 4:30pm. All W1 and W2 services will be departing from Albion Street, opposite the old Beechwood Shopping Centre rear entrance. From there the service will divert via Albion Street, Hewlett Road, All Saints Road and Pittville Circus Road before re-joining the normal route on Prestbury Road. Unfortunately we are unable to serve bus stops in Pittville Street, North Place, Portland Street and Clarence Street on outbound journeys during the diversion.
Journeys to Cheltenham will travel the normal routes to Prestbury Road before being diverted to Albion Street via Winchcombe Street. Unfortunately we are unable to serve bus stops in Wellington Road, Evesham Road and Portland Street on inbound journeys during the diversion.
Both arrivals and departures should return to normal in Pittville Street after 4:30pm.
Delays are expected during the day due to temporary road closures as the race passes through each area. Both our drivers and operations staff will try to minimise delays as best we can, however passengers are advised to allow extra time for their journeys.
606 service
This service will continue to arrive and depart from Bay A at the Royal Well Bus Station, Cheltenham throughout the day.
Passengers are advised some delays are expected throughout the day, in particular the 2:45pm departure from Cheltenham to Chipping Campden, may have to be held at the Sunset Lane bus stop, Southam as the race travels down Cleeve Hill on the B4632 and turns right in New Road, left into Old Road then right into Southam Lane, before heading in the direction of Cheltenham Racecourse.
