Volunteers needed

Cheltenham’s Festival of Cycling is returning to Pittville Park, Tommy Taylors Lane, on Sunday 19 May. Join us for a day celebrating everything cycling. Support the Western League Cyclocross Race, take part in free coaching and confidence building sessions, guided rides, bike maintenance, bike demos and much more. All ages and abilities welcomed.

We are currently looking for volunteers to help run the event on the day, and your support is crucial to making it happen.  There are lots of activities which volunteers are needed for, such as help setting up and packing away, cycle marshals, helping with the junior bike course, assisting with the cyclocross event, balanceability and bikeability sessions, supporting the car parks and helping on the information stand.

Volunteers are invited to a briefing session beforehand and are provided with a t-shirt, meals (if volunteering for over 4 hours), drinks and snacks throughout the day. There are also opportunities for breaks to enjoy the event as well.

If you can spare some time on Sunday 19 May between 9am and 6pm and would be interested in helping, please download and complete the volunteer form and return it to volunteering@cheltenham.gov.uk.
